Eightfold Turning

Day 248 hides a secret: its prime factors — 2³ × 31 — plant eight as a structural root. And 248 is the dimension of E8, mathematics' most exceptional Lie group, the most symmetric object in eight-dimensional space. Eight radial arms orbit from your identity's core, computed via complex power z⁸ — pure arithmetic symmetry made visible. The arms breathe with a last quarter moon's threshold light: warm at the center, cooling toward indigo at the edges. Each arm drifts at a pace drawn from your npub, too slow to watch but impossible to miss after minutes pass. This is September's first Saturday — early autumn, the harvest still warm, the long nights beginning. Your identity is the E8 attractor, pulling the eight-fold pattern toward a unique local minimum — a private angle on an eternal form that belongs to you.
